Ámsterdam, enero de 2023: Amstel ha dado un paso más en su búsqueda de inclusión alrededor del mundo al asociarse con la CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina, el torneo de fútbol femenino más importante de Sudamérica. Esta noticia se suma al anuncio de la marca de ampliar hasta 2026 su acuerdo como «patrocinador oficial» de los prestigiosos torneos de clubes masculinos del fútbol sudamericano.
El anuncio de patrocinio de Amstel en apoyo de la CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina ayudará a impulsar el crecimiento global y la popularidad del fútbol femenino, como lo demuestra el récord de asistencia a partidos de fútbol femenino alrededor del mundo.
Amstel, propiedad de HEINEKEN y disponible en más de 110 países, cuenta con una larga tradición en el fútbol de élite, habiendo colaborado anteriormente con la UEFA Europa League y la UEFA Champions League. La marca está asociada con la CONMEBOL desde 2017 y desde entonces ha estado utilizando esta plataforma para celebrar la inclusión en la región.

Como parte de la renovada asociación con la CONMEBOL Libertadores y la nueva alianza con la CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina, Amstel seleccionará y premiará a la «Jugadora con Mayor Impacto Social» de los torneos de clubes femeninos de la CONMEBOL. Este galardón especial se otorgará a una jugadora que sea un modelo a seguir en su comunidad y que haya realizado esfuerzos extraordinarios para desarrollar el fútbol femenino o luchar por la igualdad en este deporte.
Amstel también apoya a la CONMEBOL en su objetivo de transformar el fútbol femenino en Sudamérica ofreciendo oportunidades, promoviendo valores y habilidades técnicas, así como mejorando los incentivos para que todas las mujeres y niñas se involucren en este deporte.
El acuerdo ampliado incluye una visibilidad única en el estadio y experiencias exclusivas, patrocinio de retransmisiones, contenidos de marca y regalos de entradas. Amstel también seguirá desarrollando activaciones específicas, incluyendo campañas de comunicación 360, nuevos envases y promociones al consumidor para mostrar la asociación y consolidar aún más su posición en la región.
El año pasado, Amstel también utilizó su patrocinio de la CONMEBOL Libertadores para crear una serie de campañas con el fin de celebrar la diversidad de los aficionados y destacar que, a pesar de algunas diferencias, están unidos por su pasión compartida por el futbol. Estas campañas incluyeron las populares «Amigos Para Siempre» y «Tiro de la Verdad».
La ampliación del patrocinio incluye la CONMEBOL Libertadores, la CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina, la CONMEBOL Sudamericana y la CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana, todas de 2023 a 2026.
